Loading the washing machine can be difficult at times due to my mothers poor balance, because of this she has to hold onto surfaces whilst for fulling the task. Another issue she finds difficult is hanging the laundry. Also ironing clothes, to do this she does not stand up an use a ironing board. Instead she places a hard surface onto her bet, covers it with a towel and irons the clothes on top of this, whilst sitting on her bed.
Wall mounted ironing boards
They are sturdy enough so they won't collapse while ironing. They are light weight enough to be pulled in and out of the wall. If you decide to rearrange your room, it can be removed and mounted on another wall.
Pull out rail
A pull out rail allows disabled people who are in a sitting position to gain assess to clothes. Simply by using the leaver by pulling it allows the bar to come down at a suitable height for users to reach items of clothes. They then push onto the leaver and the rail will bounce back up.
