The couch came is designed to act as a standing aid from a couch, chair or recliner. It has a wide grip, powder coat finish and adjustable shaft. It also has a anti skid pad to prevent slipping and helps protect floor surfaces. It includes wide grip handles that can adjust from 29 to 30 inches, with the capacity of 300lbs.

My mother relies on the couch cane to help her stand up from sitting on the sofa. With the couch cane she would have to rely on the help of others to pull her up in to a standing position. She uses the connotation of pulling herself  of the couch using the cane, whilst also holding on to her walking frame to support her weight and balance, so the she feels stable and secure.
